to the beginning of a digital campaign ultimately geared to having more women in politics. We make up 50% of the population but only take up 30% of the seats in parliament. That means men are making fundamental decisions about every part of our lives.
In thinking. In voting. In what activism looks like.
But how are we going to do this?
We intend to shine a big ugly blinking fluorescent light on this outdated gender disparity through our collective comedic voices.
Our goal, and our challenge, is to convince decision-makers and average Joe’s that it’s time to have equality. Some might say, past time!

Women in comedy are a special breed in that we have microphones, audiences and rock-solid backbones when we are on a stage. Parity in Politics is a vehicle to leverage this gift. Using comedic voices to shift how people think. Not all Canadians "get" politics, clearly, but they sure as hell get comedy. That's the hook.
If you think you have material that fits with this mission, please let us know in the form provided! Humour is going to drive and we'd love to have you on the bus!
If you are a good human male comedian, especially if you are the father of daughters, and have material that is in alignment with the above, dive in.
